Roof Inspections & Reporting Service

Roof inspections allow us to examine your roof's condition and composition and provide a proper plan of action based on the needs of the roof, as well as the needs of the customer. Our familiarity with a wide variety of roof systems and our trained estimators' accumulated experience provides us with a unique perspective on our customers' roofs.

We will examine your roof through roof core sampling, visual and physical inspection and infrared survey (non-destructive heat loss detection). Photographs of the various deficiencies and potential problem areas will be taken, as well as detailed notes regarding the composition and condition of the roof. This information is compiled and reviewed by our experienced estimators and a report detailing our findings will be written specifically for you.

The report we provide will give a detailed perspective of the roof's current condition and suggest options for repair, restoration or replacement, as required. We will describe the roof's current condition and offer the projected life cycle for the roof, i.e. what can you expect to happen to this roof if repairs are completed? If they are not completed? This type of knowledge is invaluable for proper roof management.

We recommend that roof inspections be carried out on a regular (yearly or bi-yearly) basis, so that the condition of the roof can be tracked through time as the roof ages. Small leaks that go undetected can develop into expensive roof problems in just a few years, so an inspector's early warning can save you a significant expense down the road. Also, by being on top of your roof's condition and future life cycle, budgeting for repairs is possible and can be a simple and easy process, rather than a significant emergency capital expense in the form of a roof replacement.

Our reports are written by our estimators and are unique to every customer. Pre-packed roof reports provided by expensive consultants often miss the mark in providing customers with the information they can really use, such as what alternative repair options are available or what performance a customer can expect from their existing roof in the future. Our detailed roof reports give you an understanding of your roof's current and future condition and how you can maintain its value and performance over time.
